Job Description

Test Case Design

Develop and execute test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Manual Testing

Perform manual testing of software applications across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).

Defect Identification

Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Regression Testing

Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.

Collaboration

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.

Test Documentation

Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.

Automation (Optional)

Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts (if applicable).

User Experience Testing

Evaluate the user experience to ensure that the application meets the user’s expectations.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Testing Methodologies

Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, testing life cycle, and software development life cycle (SDLC).

Attention to Detail

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Communication Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members.

Problem-Solving

Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.

Tools Knowledge

Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.

(preferred but not mandatory).

Eagerness to Learn

Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.

Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
