As an SDET Intern at Cornerstone OnDemand, you will be immersed in both manual and automation testing processes, working with cutting-edge technologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of software testing within a dynamic and supportive environment.
✅ Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python.
Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Tools & Technologies:
Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium.
Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
💡 Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
Automation Frameworks:
Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
CI/CD Tools:
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Cloud Platforms:
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Development:
Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and other relevant frameworks.
Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Manual Testing:
Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality and identify defects.
Report and track issues using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
Quality Assurance:
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
