HARMAN is seeking a skilled Python Automation QA Engineer to join their Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. Your expertise in Python programming and automation testing will contribute to the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automated test scripts using Python to validate software functionality and performance.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks utilizing Python libraries and tools such as Selenium or Pytest.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Continuously maintain and optimize test automation code to ensure efficiency and alignment with evolving software requirements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and provide feedback on testability.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years in automation and manual testing.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python, including data structures, file operations, and object-oriented programming.
Experience with Python automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Pytest, Unittest, and Behave.
Familiarity with black box, white box, and gray box testing techniques.
Knowledge of tools like JIRA, TestRail, or TestLink for managing test cases and tracking defects.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address issues effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration.
Meticulous in identifying defects and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
