🛠️ Role Overview

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the WMI Core stream, providing core banking capabilities across WM International locations. This role focuses on integration and synergies across WMI locations, driving a capability-driven and modular platform strategy for core banking.

✅ Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience

5–8 years in both functional and automation testing.

Testing Proficiency

Proficiency in backend, UI, and database testing.

Service Testing

Hands-on testing experience for REST/SOAP services, KAFKA/MQ event-based applications.

Testing Lifecycle

Solid understanding of requirements analysis, test case creation, regression testing, and defect tracking.

Agile Methodologies

Familiarity with agile best practices.

Programming Languages

Java or Kotlin.

Build Tools

Maven or Gradle.

Testing Frameworks

Experience with BDD testing frameworks.

Design & Development

Lead the design, development, and customization of Temenos Transact (T24) modules.

Enhancements

Develop and enhance local developments, AA products, and integration components.

API Integration

Define and implement API-based integrations with external systems (internal/external APIs, OFS, TCI).

Team Leadership

Guide and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Collaboration

Collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects for technical feasibility and solution design.

Quality Assurance

Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimizations.

DevOps Support

Support DevOps practices for automated builds, deployments, and version control.
