Become a crucial part of Mastercard’s Commercial Solutions team as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)! You will lead the design and implementation of automated testing strategies that ensure the highest quality of our cutting-edge payment solutions. Collaborate with Agile teams to validate application functionality and performance across APIs, web, and system interfaces using modern testing tools and continuous integration practices.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
🧪 Lead test automation design and strategy for your SCRUM team, covering UI, API, and system interfaces.
🤝 Collaborate with business and development stakeholders to define test plans and acceptance criteria.
🛠 Build, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks, including refactoring existing code.
🔍 Analyze application logs and debug issues to ensure product quality and stability.
📊 Generate quality metrics and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
🚀 Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with automation tests and quality gates.
📋 Participate in project reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections to improve processes and documentation.
👩🏫 Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
🎤 Conduct demos of new features and testing capabilities for stakeholders.
🔄 Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and improve test coverage.
🛡 Uphold Mastercard’s security policies and ensure confidentiality and integrity of information.
🛠 Required Skills & Experience
✔ Proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks and test scripts.
✔ Expertise in Agile testing methodologies, continuous testing, and integration testing.
✔ Strong knowledge of UI automation tools and techniques for web, mobile, and portals.
✔ Experience analyzing logs and debugging automated test failures.
✔ Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools and pipelines.
✔ Ability to translate complex requirements into detailed test scenarios.
✔ Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and coaching team members.
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
