Juspay is seeking passionate Software Development Engineer – Backend Interns to join our Bengaluru team. This role offers an opportunity to work on mission-critical fintech systems that process over 175 million transactions daily, contributing to India's digital payment infrastructure.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design and implement scalable business logic to handle evolving payment requirements, including UPI integrations and authentication.
API Integrations
Develop and maintain robust API integrations to support various payment methods and services.
Functional Programming
Utilize functional programming paradigms to create concise and efficient codebases.
Infrastructure
Contribute to building reliable, multi-DC architectures ensuring 99.999% availability.
Data Science
Leverage insights from transaction data to enable intelligent payment operations, including anomaly detection and self-healing systems.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Kotlin, Rust, Go, or Node.js.
Familiarity with functional programming concepts.
Desired Skills
Experience with API development and integration.
Understanding of distributed computing and infrastructure management.
Exposure to data science and machine learning applications.
Knowledge of UI frameworks like React and proprietary frameworks such as Presto.
💰 Stipend & Compensation
Estimated Monthly Stipend
₹21,000 – ₹25,000
Final stipend figures will be communicated upon selection and are subject to company norms.
