AI Developer Intern – Lokal App, Bengaluru

Lokal App is offering a 6-month AI Developer Internship in Bengaluru, running from June 2025 to December 2025. This in-office role is ideal for candidates passionate about leveraging AI to empower local communities across India. Interns will work on developing and enhancing AI models that support Lokal's mission of providing hyperlocal content and services.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-driven features.

Develop machine learning models to improve content personalization and user engagement.

Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive data-informed decisions.

Optimize existing AI models for performance and scalability.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and data structures.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.

Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Desired Skills

Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and their AI services.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

💰 Stipend & Compensation

Estimated Monthly Stipend

₹20,000 – ₹30,000

Final stipend figures will be communicated upon selection and are subject to company norms.
