Quality Assurance Analyst – Prodapt, Chennai (Guindy)
Prodapt is seeking a diligent and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join its Chennai (Guindy) office. This role is vital for ensuring structured project initiation, managing risks early in the project lifecycle, and driving process improvements across delivery teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and foundational knowledge of Six Sigma principles.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will analyze performance and quality metrics, facilitate process improvements end-to-end, conduct audits, and help institutionalize standardized ways of working. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with defined processes and support continuous quality enhancement efforts. Key Responsibilities
Ensure structured initiation of projects by identifying potential risks at the outset to enable timely mitigation.
Establish and monitor appropriate processes to review and improve delivery performance continuously.
Analyze performance and quality metrics rigorously and guide teams through end-to-end process improvements.
Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to quality standards and promote institutionalization of standardized work practices.
Apply solid understanding of SDLC to align quality assurance efforts with project lifecycle stages.
Leverage basic Six Sigma knowledge to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and defects.
Utilize Agile and DevOps knowledge to foster collaboration, accelerate delivery, and improve product quality.
Requirements
Proven experience in structured project initiation and early risk identification.
Strong ability to set up and review processes for effective delivery performance management.
Skilled in analyzing quality and performance metrics and driving actionable process improvements.
Experience in conducting audits and promoting standardization of processes across teams.
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
Basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodology for quality improvement.
Mandatory knowledge and experience with Agile frameworks and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Prior experience in quality assurance, process management, or performance analysis roles is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with quality tools, audit procedures, and process documentation is a plus.
Estimated Salary Range
Monthly Salary
₹40,000 – ₹70,000
Annual CTC
₹5 LPA – ₹8 LPA
